TOY GRAPH 2006 to 2016
The 2015 Toy Run Recipient list saw 553 homes, orphanages, hospitals, places of safety and needy communities benefit from your kind donations
At the event itself, near the Toy Trucks collection area, we have boards with dozens of photos of children receiving the toys which you donate. Toys donated by you are NEVER sold or stockpiled between years – ALL the toys and gifts are given to the children in need.

The end venue for the Toy Run has been moved to Killarney International Raceway this year, as we wanted to further improve the experience for all of the Toy Run participants and feel that Killarney is the perfect fit.
With their motto inclusive of the concepts of Passion. Competition. Family, Killarney International Raceway will doubtless provide the perfect platform to ensure that the 2017 Toy Run Cape Town resumes its role as the premier Motorcycle Charity event in the country.
The collaboration to bring this amazing event together this year is very appropriate, as it is Killarney International Raceway’s 70th Anniversary and the Toy Run Cape Town’s 35th Anniversary – both milestone ‘birthdays’ for these two iconic Cape Town entities, steeped in tradition and local culture.
The infrastructure at the end venue makes it easier to provide entertainment for both the adults and children in a controlled manner. The Western Province Motor Club has many years of experience in the organisation of large events at Killarney International Raceway and the Toy Run is looking forward to collaborating with them to ensure the best Toy Run so far!
Absolutely not! The Toy Run (the actual ride) will always be free and you can make your way to the Toy Trucks to donate your toys and gifts to the children without having to pay anything – so please support the kids!
Should you and your family wish to continue to enjoy the comeraderie and the festivities, you can move across to the event arena. Entry fee to this controlled area, with the bars, stage, stalls & other entertainment is R30 per person, with kids under 14 free – So you can enjoy the day with your family at minimal cost.
Tickets can be pre-purchased via the online ticket system CLICK HERE or at the event area entrance gate on the day
In order to access the VIP area on the upper floor of the Clubhouse, you will need to have PRE-BOOKED a VIP ticket as this area is limited.
VIP Booking will not be available at the gate and will only be available through the online ticket system http://qkt.io/ToyRunCT
The Toy Run has over the last few years been running at a substantial loss every year, to the point where the event was going to be cancelled. This would obviously have been a tragedy not only for the tens of thousands of children who are recipients of your good will, but for those bikers, supporters and participants who look forward to this opportunity to give back to the community.
The entry fee is being charged so that the event can survive, but also so that it can grow. The entry fee and sponsors assist in enabling us to put together a premium family-friendly event that really shows how much we appreciate your effort on the day.
Any profit made from the event will be donated to a sister charity or used to purchase more toys & gifts. The entry fee to the event area is simply there to cover actual direct costs of the event, which are substantial – to the tune of approaching R400 000 in past years.
Unfortunately, while many very generous companies donate their services at cost to the event, there are still huge costs, mainly personnel costs, (traffic control, safety and security, fencing, tents, entertainment, permits, etc) which need to be covered by the entry fee and regalia sales.
Thank you for your support – its worth it!
- All persons over 14 @ R30.00
- Free entry to Toy Run raffle included
- Children under 14 FREE
- Does not include an entry to the raffle
- All persons over 14 @ R30.00
We have plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors, in the main event arena, as well as Bedouin tents for shade on the fields and comfort for this years event. The event arena also has a children’s area to ensure a fun and comfortable family outing. There is also a VIP section with its own bar and restaurant if you would like to get the best out of your Toy Run experience, but you must pre-book these tickets http://qkt.io/ToyRunCT
Toy Run 2017 TShirts & Badges, as well as Large Teddy Bears will be available in the toy & gift donation / pits area for all visitors to purchase with out having to enter the main event arena
