Toy Run Cape Town is excited to announce that this year, our 40th Anniversary, the event will be held over TWO days – Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th November 2022!

The Toy Run is South Africa’s largest motorcycle ride, and it’s all for charity. Every year near the end of November, tens of thousands of bikes rally together for give joy to the needy children of South Africa.
The actual TOY RUN / MASS RIDE will take place as normal (pre-covid) on the Sunday morning, 27th November 2022 from the start venues, to end at Killarney International Raceway. Members of the public are welcome to attend the main Toy Run event to see the motorcycles (or on yours if you have one) and to be part of one of the largest charity events in the country.

The motorcycle run itself is FREE – starting from GrandWest in the North at 10:30am and the A-Track stadium parking area in Green Point in the City of Cape Town, leaving 10am (see ROUTES INFO) and ending at Killarney International Raceway Potsdam Road Table View. You can do the run or go directly to the end venue and can enter Killarney to make your donation of toys and gifts for FREE.

The Saturday 26th November 2022 will be mostly about music, with a Battle of the Bands competition in the afternoon, and LATE FINAL will be our headline band for the evening. Should you wish to enter the Event Arena, where we will have live music by amazing local bands, comedy, stalls, the bar area and other entertainment, you will need to purchase a ticket right here. There will also be bike and car displays, stalls, a bar/beer garden, and a variety of food vendors.

DAY 1 ARENA R50 – Permits access to the EVENT ARENA ONLY on Saturday 26th November 2022 from 12noon to 10pm – includes access to Late Final live music event
DAY 2 ARENA R50 – Permits access to the EVENT ARENA ONLY on Sunday 27th November 2022 from 10am to 4pm
WEEKEND DAY R80 – Permits access to the EVENT ARENA on both Saturday 26th November 2022 from 12noon to 10pm and Sunday 27th November 2022 from 10am to 4pm and includes access to Late Final live music event. You will have to leave by 10pm on Saturday and return Sunday morning.
VIP R350 – Permits access to the EVENT ARENA AND UPSTAIRS VIP AREA on both Saturday 26th November 2022 from 12noon to 10pm and Sunday 27th November 2022 from 10am to 4pm and includes access to Late Final live music event, year badge, Tshirt, Drink & Food Voucher
CAMPING OVERNIGHT R200 – Permits access to the EVENT ARENA AND CAMPING AREA on both Saturday 26th November 2022 from 12noon to 10pm and Sunday 27th November 2022 from 10am to 4pm and includes access to Late Final live music event, parking near camping area and year badge

The Toy Run Cape Town needs more toys to be donated – LOTS more. If you would like to donate a gift or toy but cannot attend the event, you can purchase a virtual toy by making a donation on this platform or by going to our website and making a donation.

Any excess funds will be used to further the project plans for the Toy Run Charity and purchase additional toys and gifts for the many hundreds of homes, orphanges, places of safety, hospitals, organisations and disadvantaged communities that rely on the Toy Run to provide toys and gifts for the children in need.
