Toy Run has aligned goals with Zanokhanyo Children’s Safety Home

The vision is to create an environment where children:

• Live in a safe and humane environment
• Grow up to be happy and healthy adults
• Have access to education
• Are integrated in the community
• Receive age appropriate stimulation through sports, arts and cultural activities
• Stay away from crime and drugs

Founded in 2005 Zanokhanyo Children’s Safety Home is located in Makhasa, Khayelitsha in Cape Town, South Africa. The home is run by Nolubabalo (Nolu) Nditha.  Nolu, an unemployed community worker, was troubled to see children living on the streets without food, opened her heart and took the children into her home and began looking after them. Zanokhanyo  now rovides a loving and caring environment for the children so that they can grow up to become responsible adults.

Toy Run recently took the children to the Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town
